You may see a change immediately, but the appearance soon after treatment is not the settled result. Swelling can temporarily make lips look fuller or less even; allow it to resolve before judging the outcome. It is not permanent, and we cannot promise a particular duration. Results vary and suitability is confirmed at consultation. Mild swelling and tenderness are common after lip injections; the existing clinic treatment guidance notes that swelling may last up to 72 hours. Bruising can also occur. Your doctor will give you aftercare instructions for your treatment, including when to contact the clinic if something does not feel right.

Plan around social or professional commitments rather than assuming your lips will look settled the next morning. Avoid strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours, in line with our general aftercare guidance, unless your doctor advises otherwise. Do not press or manipulate the area without advice.
